Long Table
Long table is an object first shown at New Work, a solo exhibition by Muller Van Severen back in 2014.
Although the exhibition mainly consisted of glossy lacquer surfaces,
Muller Van Severen presented three polyethylene tables on the side,
mounted on rusted steel and red lacquered steel threshes.
Together with ‘low table’ and ‘round table’, this ‘long table ’ shows
the continuation of Muller Van Severen’s fascination for the material polyethylene.
It is a soft and tactile plastic, when cut through, the texture of the material really comes forward.
It is all handwork done in Belgium.

Long table은 2014년에 Muller Van Severen의 단독 전시회인 New Work에서 처음 선보였습니다.
이 전시회는 주로 광택 래커 표면으로 구성되었지만,
Muller Van Severen은 녹슨 강철과 붉은 칠을 한 강철 타슈에 올려진
3개의 폴리에틸렌 테이블을 선보였습니다.
Low Table과 Round Table과 함께 이 Long Table은 소재인 폴리에틸렌에 대한
Muller Van Severen의 매료됨을 보여줍니다.
부드럽고 촉감이 좋은 플라스틱으로 절단시 재료의 질감이 실제로 나옵니다.
모두 벨기에에서 수공업으로 제작됩니다.
